James Rice
Expertise: Dr. James Rice has over 30 years of technical and managerial experience in the fields of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. His litigation support experience as an expert witness began in 1999 and has included cases covering a wide spectrum of applications in mechanical engineering. Dr. Rice’s primary expertise is in computational methods and computer simulation in mechanical engineering. Dr. Rice has been involved in the development and application of computational methods for a wide range of problems in engineering analysis and design. Dr. Rice was a founder of Compuflo, Inc and an original developer of the FLOTRAN software, which was widely used in industry for myriad fluid mechanics and heat transfer applications. Dr. Rice is the author of over 30 technical publications and has consulted for over 40 companies. Dr. Rice has conducted over 200 seminars and short courses in the US, Europe, and the Orient on fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and computational methods. He has also been an invited speaker at international conferences on computational methods in engineering.
