Following several years of practice as a litigator, Shawn has built a reputation as a fierce advocate for his clients in their pursuit of compensation and accountability.

Shawn graduated from Pepperdine Law School with honors and obtained a certificate in dispute resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. After law school, Shawn joined a 2-year business rotation program at one of the largest insurance companies in California. This unique opportunity allowed him to take a look “behind the curtain” and gain invaluable experience and knowledge about the insurance industry. Shawn’s experience includes several years at a large firm that represented public agencies, including counties, cities, and school districts. During this time, Shawn learned the ins and outs of government tort claims and how to navigate the intricacies of public records requests under California law. Shawn’s experience has provided him a comprehensive understanding of the personal injury landscape, which he utilizes as part of his everyday practice.

One of Shawn’s notable strengths is his ability to empathize with clients and understand the profound impact that injuries and employment disputes can have on their lives. Shawn represented his family following a horrific motor vehicle accident that nearly took their lives. This gave Shawn a different perspective on personal injury claims, and he now approaches every case and client with the same compassion and personalized attention necessary to support them through the legal process as if they were family.

Beyond his courtroom advocacy, Shawn is deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of individuals and in the community as a whole. Shawn actively engages in various professional organizations and takes part in initiatives aimed at improving safety standards, promoting awareness, and seeking justice for injury victims.

When Shawn is not tirelessly fighting for his client’s rights, he spends his free time with his family, fiancé, and two dogs, Charlie and Lucy.
