Bill Miller's Bar-G-Q Restaurant Alex Katzman graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988, completed a post-graduate program at Oxford University in England, and graduated from St. Mary’s School of Law in 1993. Alex has practiced primarily in Bexar County and throughout Texas since graduating from law school.

Alex is licensed by the Texas Supreme Court, the Southern and Western Federal District Courts of Texas, and the 5th Circuit Federal Court of Appeals.

He is also the committee chair of the Texas State Bar Grievance Committee (San Antonio District 10), the Bexar County Fee Dispute Committee, a master in the William S. Sessions Inn of Court, past president (2004) and member of the National Employment Lawyers Association –San Antonio chapter, a director of the San Antonio Trial Lawyer’s Association (SATLA), and a member of the Texas Employment Lawyer’s Association (TELA).

Alex was recognized by “Scene in SA” magazine in 2006 as one of the best San Antonio lawyers in the areas of Employment Law and Personal Injury, and again in 2007, 2008 and 2009 in Employment Law. He was also recognized by Texas Monthly as a Rising Star in 2005 and a Texas Super Lawyer in 2009. He is fluent in Hebrew.

Alex holds a 4th dan red belt in Kenseido (karate/aikido) and is a senior instructor of Kenseido when he is not practicing law.
