Zachary S. Hindman, a native of Sioux City, is an associate at Bikakis, Mayne, Arneson, Hindman & Hisey. He is engaged in a general practice of law, including civil, criminal litigation and appellate practice.

Prior to joining the firm in 2011, Zach served as a law clerk to the Honorable Steven M. Colloton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He attended Drake Law School as a Dwight D. Opperman Scholar, graduating first in his class, with highest honors, in 2010. While at Drake, Zach was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers. He also served as editor-in-chief of the Drake Law Review, was a member of the National Moot Court Competition team, and won all three of Drake’s intra-school moot court competitions. Zach was chosen by the faculty at Drake to receive the William and Ellen Cooney Hoye Award, which is given to the graduating student who, in the opinion of the faculty, demonstrates the greatest promise as an advocate, a public servant, and a practitioner. Zach graduated summa cum laude from Morningside College in 2007, with a B.A. in History.

Zach is admitted to practice in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. He is a member of the Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota State Bar Associations, and the Iowa Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society.
