United States of America v. Demetric Antwan Swinton

The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office used a confidential source to conduct two controlled purchases of more than a pound of methamphetamine each from Demetric Antwan Swinton, ate 39, of Cocoa, Flrida, after he was identified as a methamphetamine source operating in Brevard County. A search warrant was then executed at Swinton’s residence resulting in the seizure of additional methamphetamine, cocaine, and drug processing materials. In total, Swinton was responsible for over 1,750 grams of pure methamphetamine and over 50 grams of cocaine.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Megan Testerman.

IMPRISONMENT: 180 MONTHS. This term consists of a 180-month term as to Counts One and Two, all such terms to run concurrently. SUPERVISED RELEASE: 10 YEARS. This term consists of a 10-year term as to Counts One and Two, all such terms to run concurrently. FINE: Waived. SPECIAL ASSESSMENT: $200.00
