Matthew Fluckiger, age 37, a certified nursing assistant, was charged with two counts of committing a forcible lewd act on a dependent by a caretaker and a third count of committing a lewd act but not using force. For all three counts, prosecutors argued that Fluckiger sexually assaulted a woman twice in one hour at Parkway Hills nursing home in La Mesa in January 2020.
Outcome: Defendant was found guilty on three counts, but not on two.
