Olathe, KS - The State of Kansas charged Paige Hatfield, age 27, with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and operating an unlicensed daycare facility.
Kingston Gilbert, a 4-and-a-half month boy was diagnosed with abusive head trauma on January 13, 2017. He had been cared for by Hatfield for 11 days before being presented at Children's Mercy Hospital.
Kingston suffered permanent brain damage and is blind.
