Appellant Adrian Gregory attempts to appeal from the trial court’s order
denying his pretrial application for habeas corpus, in which Gregory sought the denial
of his extradition to Illinois and also sought reasonable bail. See Tex. Code Crim.
Proc. Ann. art. 51.13, §§ 10, 16. After the trial court denied the application, Gregory
was released to Illinois, and the underlying trial court cause number was dismissed.
We notified Gregory that we questioned our jurisdiction based on the dismissal and
warned that we could dismiss the appeal if Gregory did not respond showing grounds
to continue the appeal. See Tex. R. App. P. 44.3.
Outcome: Gregory has not responded. Because the issues raised in Gregory’s application are now moot, we dismiss his appeal on that basis.
