Claims were violations of Ky.’s Whistleblower Act and unlawful retaliation for supporting employees’ complaints of sexual harassment. Defense verdict on retaliation. $500,000.00 on Whistleblower claim for lost wages and punitive damages. Whistleblower claim was that the plaintiff raised concerns about an apprenticeship program before a “graduation” ceremony when the program had not received approval from the U.S. Department of Labor.

Outcome: Plaintiffs verdict for $133,500 in compensatory damages and $366,500 in punitive damages.
