Description: Automobile accident on state highway resulting in death of the Defendant. Plaintiff was travelling East on State Road 32 in Delaware County when Plaintiff pulled his vehicle from a stopped position on the shoulder of the highway directly into the path of the Plaintiff's vehicle in a U-turn fashion. Witnesses gave statements that Plaintiff had no opportunity to react. Plaintiff was a 70 year old married man who suffered a broken nose, broken sternum and multiple contusions and lacerations. Hospital stay of a few days, no permanent injury, some lost wages, total damages in the sum of $7,882.58.

Outcome: Settlement to plaintiffs for $31,000.00.
