Joseph Jocanti Johnson, III, age 26, was charged with murder for the killing of Mike Mecklenburg in 2017.

Mike Mecklenburg, age 59, was found shot to death on April 14, 2017, in a car at a Greenville Home.

Mecklenburg was a member of the Greenville Design and Review Board.

Proecutors claimed that Johnson and Mecklenburg got into an argument before the shooting.

Defendant pled not guilty.
