of due process, equal protection, and free speech in violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments, as enforced through 42 U.S.C. § 1983; and conspired to deprive him of the same rights due to his political and religious views in violation of 42 U.S.C. § 1985(3). Melvin also asserts state claims for breach of contract, unjust enrichment, promissory fraud, and fraudulent misrepresentation.

Outcome: Motion to dismiss granted.
