Description: Charleston, West Virginia criminal law lawyer represented Defendant charged with distributing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.

Caila Vance, age 27, from Charleston, sold more than 100 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a firearm to a confidential informant on February 8, 2022. The substance later tested positive as methamphetamine.

United States Attorney Will Thompson made the announcement and commended the investigative work of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

United States District Judge Irene C. Berger imposed the sentence. Assistant United States Attorney Steve Loew prosecuted the case.
