MoreLaw Legal News For Muskogee

Plaintiffs claimed that they hired Insurica to find coverage as requested by Plaintiffs for a property in Mission, Texas, which was damaged by a storm on July 26, 2020. Plaintiffs filed a claim, which was denied by Travelers because water damaged to the building was not water that entered the building via a hole in the roof caused by the storm.

This case was filed in the District Court, Seminole County, case no. CJ-21-29, and was removed to federal court by Travelers' attorneys.

Plaintiffs sought remand to the District Court of Seminole County because of lack of complete jurisdiction.

Outcome: Motion to remand granted.
