Description: Tulsa, Oklahoma plaintiff personal injury lawyer sued defendants on governmental tort claims and general negligence theories claiming to have suffered more than $10,000 in damages and/or injuries as a result of an accident caused by Defendants' employees.

On June 1, 2019, Plaintiff was traveling on 121st Street and Delaware between Sandusky and Toledo Avenues in Tulsa when he entered a construction zone on his motorcycle.

The road was partially grooved, but the portion of the lane was not. The partial work left an edge on the roadway that was several inches higher than the rest of th elane, that ran through the approximate middle of the length of the road.

There were no appropriate warning signs advising travelers of the grooved pavement, the uneven lanes or otherwise to warn of the dangerous conditions that lay ahead. Plaintiff hit directly on the un-grooved edge of the roadway causing him to lose control.

Plaintiff sustained a right leg injury resulting in breaks in five locations on the legal. He also suffered from road rash and an injury to his right hand.

Outcome: Settled with the City of Tulsa for $50,000.00.
