Jaun Molina was
A patient of Dr. Agrawal who was performing a cardiac catheterization procedure on August 25, 2017.

Plaintiffs alleged that on August 15, 2014, Juan Carlos Molina presented to St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, Georgia for a cardiac catheterization procedure to be performed by Dr. Shubodh Agrawal. At approximately 12:26 p.m. Dr. Agrawal performed the first angiogram, which was a left ventricular chamber angiogram, also known as a ventriculogram. During the procedure Dr. Agrawal perforated Mr. Molina's left ventricule wall by jamming a multipurpose catheter into the ventricle
wall.

Mr. Molina survived the procedure but complained of chest plain and he was transferred to the care of Dr. Gadlin a Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Mr. Molina was pronounced dead at 3:26 p.m.

Plaintiff claimed that Mr. Molina's death was directly caused by Defendants' negligence.

Defendants denied wrongdoing and claimed that Mr. Molina's death no act, error or omission by Defendants directly caused or contributed to Mr. Molina's death.

The elements of a personal injury claim are: (1) Failure on the part of the Defendant to exercise due care, (2) damages and/or injuries caused to Plaintiff, and (3) a direct casual relationship between 1 and 2.

A Doctor owes the same duty of care to their patients just like other service providers and failure to exercise due care in the delivery of healthcare services to patients and result in the potential liability to the patient directly caused by substandard healthcare.
