Description:
Jessica Grigg, age 17, was skiing at the Wintergreen Resort when she ran into a snow grooming machine and sustained a severe brain injury. Her father, Milton Grigg, brought suit on her behalf claiming that the Resort was negligent in placing the machine on the slope when skiers were using the slope and that insufficient warning of the presence of the machine directly caused the accident and the young woman's injuries.
The defendants denied fault.
