Additional Information: George Ann was born in Uvalde, Texas. She received her B.A. from the University of Texas in 1972 and her J.D. from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio in 1975. Fraternities: Phi Delta Phi; Order of the Barristers; John M. Harlan Honor Society. While at St. Mary’s, George Ann was associate editor of the St. Mary’s Law Journal in 1974 and Managing Editor in 1975. She has also been an instructor for Legal Research and Writing at St. Mary’s University Law School, 1974-75. Ms. Maixner authored "Symposium-Creditor’s Post-Judgment Remedies in Texas (The Garnishment Process). She is a member of the Corpus Christi Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the National College of Advocacy (Advocate).
