She was also a member of Cumberland’s honorary society, Curia Honoris, and Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest national honorary society. She was published in the Cumberland Law Review and received a Scholar of Merit Award as the top student in the Healthcare Organization and Finance course. Ms. Harman was admitted to the Alabama bar in 1998, the D.C. bar in 2000, and the Virginia bar in 2006. She is admitted to practice in federal court in the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the Northern and Middle Districts of Alabama. While practicing in Alabama, Ms. Harman defended municipalities and businesses in civil litigation, and specialized in motion and appellate practice. She authored dozens of briefs to Alabama appellate courts and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
