Angeles Garcia

Angeles Garcia is an associate in the Litigation group at Jackson Walker. Ms. Garcia has experience representing clients in a broad range of litigation matters at both the trial and appellate levels. She has developed particular experience representing financial services clients in general litigation and collections matters. Ms. Garcia has had the opportunity to develop broad-based litigation experience that includes high-level responsibility working directly with clients, taking depositions, drafting motions, and helping to formulate trial strategy. She has distinguished herself by her ability to quickly gain a thorough understanding of the business issues involved in a case, which she combines with a deep knowledge of the rules of procedure and evidence to effectively represent her clients. In addition to her litigation experience, Ms. Garcia has gained extensive knowledge of The State Bar of Texas rules for professional conduct and disciplinary proceedings through her work on a high-profile case involving allegations brought against an attorney. Before attending law school, she was a Language Assistant at the Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division. During law school, Ms. Garcia was the Board 50 Symposium Editor for the Houston Law Review. She participated in the 2012 and 2013 Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition as a brief writer and oralist. She was also a research assistant for Professor Moohr and a member of the Hispanic Law Students Association.
