Additional Information: David Kelly is a litigation trial attorney in the Minneapolis office of Bowman and Brooke specializing in the defense of U.S. and foreign corporations in products liability cases throughout the United States. He is one of seven founding partners who, in 1985, formed the law firm of Bowman and Brooke. An experienced trial lawyer, David is engaged principally in the defense of products liability actions nationwide. He has appeared as defense counsel in cases in state and federal courts in more than 20 states throughout the U.S. He also coordinates the management of regional and national litigation for major manufacturing corporations. He is national trial counsel for several international automotive product manufacturers. David received his B.A. from Hanover College, with a major course of study in English literature. Following college, he served as an officer in the United States Navy. He received his J.D. (magna cum laude) from Indiana University where he was on the Board of Editors of the Indiana Law Review . He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edward J. Devitt, Chief Judge, U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota from 1974-1976. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association and an associate member of the Society of Automotive Engineers.
