His practice has included almost every type of litigation matter and subject, including: corporate, contract, partnership, real estate, securities, employment, labor, environmental, professional malpractice, insurance, intellectual property rights, stockholder and derivative actions, class actions, civil actions, civil rights/discrimination cases, personal injury, antitrust, franchising, criminal (pro bono), domestic relations, construction and arbitrations. Mr. Barnett has tried more than 150 cases in all courts and tribunals throughout the country, including jury trials, non-jury, equity courts, administrative tribunals and arbitrations. He has handled appeals in State and Federal Appellate Courts throughout the country, including the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Barnett serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association (complex litigation panel) and is a certified mediator.
