Description: New Haven, Connecticut personal injury lawyers represented Plaintiffs, who sued Defendant on wrongful death negligence theories claiming that Defendant was responsible in part for manufacturing and selling the Bushmaster AR-15 semi-automatic rifle sued in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

"Remington Arms Company, LLC was an American manufacturer of firearms and ammunition, now defunct. ... Founded in 1816 by Eliphalet Remington."

It was reported that the theory upon which the Plaintiffs' case was predicated was that Remington had violated some unique Connecticut statute relating to the marking of the guns.

Outcome: Settled for $73 million.
