Dameon Lamar Leather was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in the Tulsa County District Court on a first-degree murder charged in 2019 for killing Howard Thompson, age 10, who was shot and killed during a robbery on Aprkl 7, 2018.
Lloyd Christopher Clemons, Jr. testified that he and Leathers robbed Thompson because he carried lots of cash. The State dismissed the robbery and murder charges against Clemons for his testimony. Clemons was found guilty of second-degree burglary and was sentenced to six years in prison.
