Description:
Leavenworth, Kansas family law lawyer represented the father.
The natural father (Father) of C.T. and H.T. appeals the district court's decision to terminate his parental rights. Specifically, Father argues the evidence does not support the district court's finding of his unfitness. But viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to the State, as we are required to do, the record sufficiently supports the district court's findings of Father's unfitness and that it was unlikely to change in the foreseeable future. In our careful examination of the record, we also determine the district court did not abuse its discretion when finding the children's best interests would be served by terminating Father's parental rights.
