Ryan Gordon, age 38, was accused of killing Melissa Hunter, age 45, on January 26, 2023.
Hunter was found dead in a North Tulsa RV park by Gordon's employer, who went to check on him when he did not show up for work.
Gordon stabbed himself in the chest as deputies approached him.
"A person commits murder in the first degree when that person unlawfully and with malice aforethought causes the death of another human being. Malice is that deliberate intention unlawfully to take away the life of a human being, which is manifested by external circumstances capable of proof."
Outcome: Gordon was found guilty.
