Description: Twenty-two counts of embezzlement and one count of caretaker abuse in connection with the mishandling of a 90- year-old woman's estate. Prosecutors allege that the couple bilked Jewell Young out of more than $100,000 while they were trustees of her estate for two years.

Outcome: Kathleen Hogue pled guility to all charges on January 12, 1998. The jury found James Hogue not guilty on all counts.
