Description: Former Chatham County Assistant District Attorney Gwendolyn Robbins sued Chatham County and District Attorney Larry Chisolm on civil rights violation and retaliation theories claiming that Defendant fired her after she filed a discrimination claim against him claiming that she had been discriminated against because of her age and gender.

Defendant denied the allegations made by Plaintiff and asserted that he eliminated Plaintiff's position in an effort to streamline his office and save money.

Outcome: Plaintiff's verdict for $270,000.00.
