Description: The Family and Estate of Thomas Fleming sued Gregory Dionisio, age 25, on auto negligence wrongful death loss of consortium theories claiming that Mr. Fleming was killed in a car wreck caused by Dionision that occurred in Fairfield County, Connecticut in 2009 when Dionisio's car crossed the center line of highway and hit Fleming's care. The plaintiffs claimed that Dionisio was intoxicated.
Fleming was riding south on Ridgefield Road on his 1965 red-and-white Harley-Davidson FLH just after 7 a.m. when Dionision ran into him with is Grand Am.
Dionisio was charged with DUI manslaughter and was convited and sentenced to five years in prison.
Outcome: Plaintiffs' verdict for $3,375,000.00.
