Description:
Appellant Karra Tichele Allen’s brief was originally due on October 15, 2015. On
March 4, 2016, we granted appellant’s third motion for extension of time and ordered appellant’s
appointed counsel to file a brief by April 25, 2016. We cautioned counsel that no further extensions
would be granted and that if he failed to file the appellate brief by the deadline, we would refer the
case to the trial court for a hearing pursuant to Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(b). To date, the brief has not
been received.
