The State alleged that Armstrong killed Wilson in a jealous rage on May 11, 2022, when she hot and killed Wilson, age 25.

Wilson was a rising star in gravel and mountain cycling.

Wilson was in a relationship with Colin Strickland before the killing. Armstrong was living with Strickland at the time of the shooting.
