Chesapeake, VA - The State of Virginia charged Johnathan Cromwell with second-degree murder and using a firearm to commit murder.
Cromwell, age 23, was an armed security guard in the Riverwalk neighborhood when he shot and killed Jiansheng Chen, age 60, who was playing Pokémon Go in his car near a Club House in an area from which he had been banned by the property owner on January 26, 2017.
Chen was shot several times through the windshield of the vehicle.
Cromwell claimed self defense.
