Description: Tulsa, Oklahoma criminal defense lawyer represented Defendant charged with coercing and enticing a minor for sex, production of child pornography, and possession of child pornography in violation of 18 USC 2422(b), 18 USC 2251(a) and 2251(e).

Alexander Nicholas Sweet, age 29, was accused to enticed a minor female into a relationship and used her for sex.

“It’s definitely an unfortunate circumstance for me to be here and for (the victim) as well,” Sweet told the judge prior to being sentenced, adding that it was “unfortunate that the trial didn’t go the way I anticipated.”

The government urged the court to sentence the Defendant to life in prison.

The victim told the court that her life had been impacted in a number of different ways.

Outcome: Defendant was sentenced to serve various terms in prison ranging from 10 to 30 years in prison.
