Lafayette, LA - Lacey Leger and Albert Fruge sued Ryan Matthew, Lanstar Ranger, Inc. and Old Republic Insurance Company on personal injury, auto negligence, respondeat superior and insurance law theories claiming to have been injured and/or damaged is a car wreck caused by Matthew.

Outcome: ORDER On June 7, 2019, counsel for Landstar Ranger Inc and Old Republic Insurance Co filed a Notice of Removal in both the Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana removing Docket No. 2019101384-C from the 15th Judicial District Court, Acadia Parish. The Western District of Louisiana assigned its case as 6:19-cv-0724. The Middle District of Louisiana assigned their case as 3:19-cv-0364 and subsequently issued an order, sua sponte, transferring the case to the Western District of Louisiana where venue was deemed appropriate. Due to the transfer, case number 6:19-cv-0882 was assigned and this matter is now considered duplicated on the Western Districts docket. Accordingly,IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the above captioned matter is DISMISSED as duplicative. All future filings should be made in 6:19-cv-0724. Signed by Judge Michael J Juneau on 7/15/19.
