Description: Omaha, Nebraska, criminal defense lawyers represented Defendants charged with conspiring to distribute marijuana.

Between October of 2018 and December of 2020, Aarion Jenkins, age 29, and Marques Eiland, age 28, were part of a marijuana conspiracy in Omaha, involving greater than 50 kilograms of marijuana. As part of the conspiracy, individuals shipped marijuana from California to locations in Omaha, including Eiland’s residence. Jenkins and Eiland were both involved in the distribution of the marijuana in Omaha. On December 18, 2020, agents executed a search warrant at Eiland’s residence and located approximately 22.5 pounds of marijuana. Jenkins and Eiland and two co-conspirators, Shawn Thomas and Julio Ayala, were all present. Thomas and Ayala have also pleaded guilty to being part of the marijuana conspiracy and are pending sentencing.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Omaha Police Department, the Bellevue Police Department, and the Sacramento California County Sheriff’s Department.
