Plaintiffs claimed that they entered into a contract with Defendants to repair damage to their home for approximately $37,000.00 in which Defendants agreed to complete the repairs by January 5, 2022 and paid Defendants $18,723.37 of the contract price. Subsequently, Defendants requested addition payment and Plaintiffs paid an additional $9,361.60. Defendants performed about one third of the work and then ceased to perform further work and breached the contract.
Outcome: Motion for default judgment in favor of Plaintiffs granted.
